Wedding season has arrived!  Here are a few of my favorites from Junnie and Mike’s DTLA/Angeles Crest E-Session!

I had the pleasure of taking engagement photos for June and Joe last week in beautiful Malibu, California.  Although I was there just a few weeks prior, this time around the weather was much warmer, windier, but still beautiful as ever.  We took a nice hike into the Malibu hills and found some awesome gems!  Take a look below and see what I’m talking about!

Last week I was incredibly blessed to be a part of Sam and Joyce’s proposal/engagement.  The weather was perfect and with the help of his close friends we were able to make the hike up the mountain, set up, and hide before they got there.  The paper flowers were provided by my friend Sara with Handmade by Sara Kim and videography was done by Daniel Chae from Run River North and you can find his awesome video HERE!  

 While Sam disguised this event as a month-late anniversary surprise, he made sure to make it momentous as they awed at the beautiful setting, danced together,  shared quiet moments in prayer, read letters they had written to each other and let balloons fly.  As the day climaxed to the proposal we joined them in a short celebration and photo session.  

We then rushed on over to Copa Vida’s Bean Roasting Facility in Pasadena where many of their friends and family gathered to celebrate their engagement.  Sam arrived with his blind-folded fiancé that also had ear-buds in her ear and led her to what would be another surprise.  We all celebrated this joyous moment with yummy baked goods, Ricky’s Fish Tacos and maybe one too many selfies.
